Have You Heard About The Amazing Shopping Deals With #Tips

When I go out to shop for clothing for myself or my children I'm always looking for a deal.  Nowadays your money can only stretch so far.  If  your on a tight budget like me every penny counts.  When I go shopping I do the following:

  • Go online to print store coupons, you can try sites like RetailMeNot or Coupon Cabin for printable coupons and online coupon codes.
  • Next shop the CLEARANCE racks first. You'll be surprised what deals you can find.

Purchased at Babies R Us for $1.00 each

  • When your at the register to pay ask the cashier if they have any coupons.  I did this at JCPenney and my daughter's christening gown was $70.00 the cashier had a 20% coupon and final price $56.00.  I've tried this at A.C. Moore, Michael's, Macy's, JCPenney, etc... You should never be afraid to ask for a discount. The worse they can say is no but at least you asked.

  • Also if you live near an outlet try shopping there as well.  I love carter's clothes, because you can wash them over and over and they do not shrink or deteriorate.  In February, I visited the Wrentham Outlets in Massachusetts.  Well I got oneies for $2.99 and outfits for $2.99 and $3.99.  I also used my coupon I printed for Carter's and I got 20% off a $40.00 purchase. Yippy :)

There are always deals out there in the stores.  It is up to you to find them.  If you have any deals or tips share them with me.  I love when I find a steal on something that I have been wanting its the best feeling.

    Very good information!

  3. Love your blog! Following you on GFR and FB from Exposure blog hop.

  4. Another suggestion I also give people is consignment shops and sales! You can get brand name stuff in great shape for a fraction of the price, usually less than 30% of retail.

  6. I have never thought to ask the register for coupons! Great tip, thanks. =) I can't agree enough on the clearance rack tip. I find a ton of good stuff there. I realized if I buy out of season off the clearance rack, I save literally hundreds of dollars a year clothing my daughter! And we love thrift stores. We do thrift, clearance, then if we still need anything, I buy it new at full price. But we hardly ever have to do that anymore. I'm fully prepared for fall and winter right now and almost prepared for next summer hahah!
