Foursquare Black Friday 11/25/2011

So as most of you have seen and heard this Friday is BLACK FRIDAY. It is the official start to the holiday season. I just recently signed up to FOURSQUARE. What is FOURSQUARE? It is a venue locations that you check-in with your smartphone, ipad, and tablet etc... What I like about it is that it has specials you can find based on where you are. It uses GPS technology and searches areas around you for specials. Go to the explore button on your phone and select specials, you will see a list of stores in your area. An example, you check-in to your local mall and check-in it has special deals just for checking in with Foursquare. Let's say you check-in to Payless Shoe Sources through Foursquare you get 10% off your purchase. After that when you check-in again you get $5 off a $25 purchase. Cool isn't it. Well I just got an email that if you check-in to a store through your phone on Black Friday you will get some cool discounts only for Foursquare members.  Woo hoo love the discounts.  Keep rolling them in.  Enjoy your Black Friday

Spotlight Fisher-Price Review

Spotlight :: Fisher-Price :: #winnerwonderland

The Winner Wonderland Giveaway Event starts next week. This week I am spotlighting my last sponsor Fisher-Price.

Fisher-Price is a company that keeps coming up with new innovative toys each year.  My son, Aidan has had many toys from Fisher-Price since he was a baby and now my daughter joins him.  I got the chance to review the Fisher-Price 2 in 1 Wagon Rider.

I'm a mom who loves multipurpose toys.  This one is awesome.  Your child can store there toys and carry them wherever they want and ride it. And it's easy for little ones to convert to a pull-along play wagon, all by themselves. They just lift the "seat" to turn it into a handle, load up, and go! Requires 3 AA batteries for lights & sounds. The 2 in 1 Wagon Rider retails for $32.00 and can be used for children 12 to 36 months of age.  My baby cannot used it as of yet she is only 4 and 1/2 months, but it will not be long before she is putting her toys in her wagon and riding it.

Features:

• Wide & sturdy 4-wheel base
• Comfortable contoured seat—converts to wagon handle!
• Durable wheels for indoor/outdoor use
• Easy grip handlebar
• Sparkling lights & lively music

Check out the Fisher-Price Holiday 2011 Catalog HERE.  Aidan wants the Rock Star Mickey and Kid-Tough® See Yourself™ Camera for Christmas.  I am also going to get the  Laugh & Learn™ Dance & Play Puppy (Pink) for Ashley.

Spotlight Rockboard Review

Spotlight:: Rockboard :: #winnerwonderland

It is almost time for the Winner Wonderland Giveaway Event.  I am spotlighting my third sponsor, Rockboard.

My son, Aidan, has been asking me for a scooter for a while now.  Every where we go we see kids on scooters.  Before getting one for Aidan I did some research on some scooters.  I was not sold on any of them.  Until I got the chance to review the Rockboard Mini Scooter.

The Rockboard Scooter has two version, the original ages 8 + and up to 200 lbs.  The scooter can be used for cruising as a kick scooter or unleashed to pick up the pace with its advanced Rockboard Propulsion Technology. The original stands at an adjustable handlebar height of 48 inches, weighs in at 20.8 pounds.  It is available in white, orange, blue and pink finishes. The Original retails for $199.99 and can be purchased at Target.com and Toysrus.com.

And the mini scooter for ages 5 + and up to 90 lbs. Rockboard Mini, a smaller-kid version, incorporates revolutionary propulsion technology allowing this scooter to be ridden for hours without ever putting a foot on the ground. You can do this without kicking, batteries or gasoline. Rockboard Scooters come fully assembled and can be folded to compact size for storage.  The mini stands at an adjustable handlebar height of 38.5 inches, weighs in at 13.2 pounds.  The mini is available in white, blue and pink finishes. The Mini retails for $159.99 and can also be purchased at Target.com and Toysrus.com.

NOTE: For safe scooting, always wear proper safety gear, including helmet and pads.

My son loves his Rockboard Mini Scooter.  It is easy for him to maneuver. What I like is that it has a kick stand.  Other scooters fall on the floor while Rockboard Scooter stand and does not tip over. Since he has been sick, Aidan has not had the opportunity to ride it outsides as of yet.  But that has not stopped him from riding it inside the apartment.  This is a great graduation, communion, birthday, and Christmas gift.  You can purchase the Rockboard Scooter at Target HERE and  Toys R Us HERE     NOTE Selection and availability varies.

Win it!!! One of my reader can win the Rockboard Original Scooter in the Winner Wonderland Giveaway event.  Come back on Sunday, November 27, 2011 when the event begins.

Spotlight Gyro Bowl Review

Sponsor Spotlight :: Infomercials-tv.com:: #winnerwonderland

Photobucket

It is getting closer to the Winner Wonderland Giveaway Event.  Today I am spotlighting my second sponsor, Infomercials-TV

Let's face it when you have small children you get food spilled everywhere. It can be candy, cereal, marshmellows, gum, etc.  I know everyone has seen the commercial for the Gyro Bowl.  And I too wondered if it really worked as the commercial implied.  Well I received the Gyro Bowl as a review and giveaway.  I put the Gyro Bowl to the test with my 5 yr old son, Aidan.

video

Let me tell you that it works for me.  Aidan is very active and gets into a lot of messes.  I find that it is able to keep up with Aidan.  I have a shag rug in my living room and Aidan get crumbs on it all the time. Aidan does not sit still and is forever roaming the apartment when he is eating.  I can never finish cleaning and with a 4 month old baby even less.  I love this bowl.  It is so easy to use. Aidan loves to spin and wiggle it, and it never spills over. It will spill if you fill it too much.

The Gyro Bowl comes with a top to store away.  I find that it works good even in the car.  When you are on the road and your car hits a bump, the bowl tilts and turns to the movement and nothing spills. The Gyro Bowl is durable and dishwasher safe.

FEATURES:

• Inner Bowl Rotates 360 Degrees
• Virtually Indestructible
• Saves Time, No More Cleaning
• Use it for Non-Food Items
• BPA-Free Plastic
• Top Rack Dishwasher Safe
• Not Microwave Safe

Get yours today HERE.  And while your there, take a look around for other great products.

The sponsor has offered to giveaway a Gyro Bowl to one of my readers. So come back to my blog on Sunday, November 27 when the Winner Wonderland Giveaway Event starts!

TJ Maxx Shopping Trip

I love TJ Maxx.  Every time I shop there I get excited about what new things I will see.  This past weekend I took one of those shopping trips.  I went into the store looking for baby items and Christmas toys for my sister's kids and my own.  I went down to the kids area and BINGO.  I found a couple of toys for my son, Aidan.

$3.99

I love to do a lot of comparison shopping.  My $$$ is extremely important to me especially when I have to stretch it out.   I shopped at Toys R Us and then went to Aldi's where I purchased a Cars 2 remote control Mater for $14.99.  This is currently retailing for $24.99.  I saved $10.00 which some might say is not alot but I can certainly buy food with it or clothes.  So every sales and/or deals really helps.

$7.99

The prices at TJ Maxx were AWESOME.  Just check out some of the pictures I took.  I even got my hubby a gift since he is a die hard G.I. Joe fan.  After scanning the toy area, I moved on to the bedding, kitchen, and clothing aisle.  I love to check out there handbags.  I find many great deals here.  I bought a Coach handbag for $99.99 which retailed for $178.00 so I made a good bargain.

I also came upon a serendipitous find.  I unfortunately TJ Maxx did not have my shoe size for Coach shoes.   The price was a steal at $69.99 for each pair of Coach shoes.  I also got a package of cloth diapers for $3.99 for a set of 6. I use them as burping cloth as my baby is a tremendous spitter. All in all I had a good trip to TJ Maxx.  I can't wait for my next shopping adventure there.

My Trip to Aldi's Food Market

Rego Center, Queens

Aldi Food Market is one of my favorite store to shop for groceries. As a mom, I'm always looking for a bargain on everything. There prices are fantastic, which helps me save alot of money especially in this economy.  This Aldi's is located in Queens at Rego Center.  The store does not take credit cards but does accept debit cards.  You also have to pay for the grocery bags which total .11 cents.

This weekend I came upon what I call a great discovery.  This market has a toy section. I just had to share this information with everyone.

Well don't you know my son was ecstatic with all the toys.  It was mommy I want this gift.  Wow!!!    Mommy I like this one the best.  I can go on and on.  There prices on toys were awesome. Just note the section for toys is not that big.

Aidan wanted to take pictures to show Santa exactly what he wanted for xmas.  I also saw a Toy Story toy that you could plug into the TV to play.  Yup, Aidan wanted that one too.  I saw there flyer HERE.  And they are going to have Transformer toys for only $8.99, can't wait.  I will be doing some of my xmas shopping here because the prices are too good to pass up.   If you get the chance, stop by a store in your area and check out there specials.
