Thanksgiving Crispy Drumstick Treats

Thanksgiving is a couple of days away.  Surprise your guest and family with a Thanksgiving Crispy Drumstick Treats for everyone. It will liven up your table for sure.  You can bet your friends and family will be asking you for the recipe and how to make these delicious treats.

Ingredients

·         large pretzel sticks
·         1bag mini marshmallows
·         2 Tbsp. butter
·         cooking spray
·         4-5 cups cocoa/rice crispies cereal
·         Bowl
·         Small pan
·         non-stick aluminum foil or wax paper
·         cookie sheet

Directions:

1.  Cut out the non-stick aluminum foil or wax paper and place on your cookie sheet.

2.  Take your pretzel sticks and scrape off the salt off them.  You can choose the amount of sticks you want to scrape to make your drumsticks. I like to scrape it up to the middle to give the look that it is cooked.

3.  In a small pan, melt the butter and marshmallows. Stir so it does not burn. Gradually add the cocoa/rice crispies cereal.  Blend them together until well coated. Then turn off the stove and place it in a bowl and let it cool down for a bit so it is not hot to touch.

4.  Coat your hands using a cooking spray or butter. Grab the cocoa/rice crispies and pretzel sticks and start to form your drumstick.

5.  Place the crispy drumstick treats on the cookie sheet and let it set for 15 minutes or until hard so it does not fall off the pretzel stick.

You can make these Thanksgiving Crispy Drumstick Treats for your office party. I added a twist to this recipe and opted not to use melted chocolate to coat the pretzel sticks. Just follow the easy steps above. The end result is a treat all will enjoy.
