ReplyDeleteOur favorite tradition is to take the kids out to collect fallen leaves and acorns. We then bring them home and they make pictures out of their finds. We love doing this as a family and no matter how old the kids get, they love doing this every year!

ReplyDeleteHe has since passed away, but my favorite Thanksgiving tradition is spending time with my uncle, watching him carve the turkey, and eating his DELICIOUS stuffing. He helped my mom raise me and my sister when my dad died, and I feel so very thankful that I had him in my life for as long as I did.
ReplyDeleteMy sister hosts Thanksgiving at her house every year. I have a big family and we love to get together and spend the day eating, reminiscing about old times, eating even more, laughing, having a few cocktails later in the evening and generally having a day of fun. We also typically draw names for our silly Christmas gift swap - which sets us up for our next awesome holiday get together.
