Thanksgiving is in a couple of days. You will have family and
guest coming over for either lunch or dinner. After eating my family enjoys
playing games. This year I have
partnered with Wonder Forge for my Holiday Gift Guide. We were sent Stick Stack Board Game, The Lion
Guard Boulder Burst Game, Finding Dory Bubble Science and Marvel I Can Do That!
Hero Training Game.
What is Stick Stack?
This is a classic game of stick with a twist.
The twist is the tower and the color tip sticks. Add sticks to the tower center
using a steady hand. You need to match
the colors to the center of the corresponding color area. Try to keep a steady hand – one unstable
stick and you will make it come down. Each player scores 1 point for each stick
they have. When anyone has 11 points or
more, the game is over and the player with the lowest points wins. This game is for ages 8 and up and includes
36 sticks, one post stick, post tray and color coded center tray along with a
bag for storage and instructions. This
game can be played with 2 or more players and retails for $14.99.

- I like this game. It is easy to set up
and my children can play. Bonus for me as I do not have to buy batteries for
this game. This game is good for my daughter as she works on her fine
manipulation and it helps her identify her colors. My favorite part is 2 or
more players can play. The more the
merrier.
What is the Lion
Guard Boulder Burst Game?
This game based on the Disney Junior show’s objective
is to stop the pride lands from flooding.
Bungas boulder dam can burst at any time. You add the water balls on top through the
clouds. You pull a boulder from the
bottom and stack it on top. Just do not be the player that makes the wall
crumble. This game is for ages 4 and up
and includes 28 boulders, 18 water balls 1 canyon, 1 rain cloud, 1 back wall, 1
pride lands platform and instructions.
This game can be played by 2 to 4 players and retails for $14.99.
#Review – This Disney
Junior show is a hit in my home. My daughter loves Kion and Kiara. This game is easy to set up. My daughter had
fun building the boulder wall up especially dropping the water balls through
the clouds. She loves breaking things
down and building them up again. My son
took turns with her throwing the balls down the clouds.
What is Marvel I
Can Do That! Hero Training Game?
In this game you are training to be a super
hero. You need to build up your skills to battle the villains like the Green
Goblin. This game is for 2 to 4 players and includes 1 portal, 2 portal stands,
1 cosmic cube, 1 Green Goblin, 1 Green Goblin base, 1 Spider-Man’s Web, 1
Captain America’s shield, 1 Thor’s Hammer, 1 Captain Marvel’s Energy ball, 45
cards and instructions. This game
retails for $16.99.
#Review - My son and
husband love anything Marvel. This game
is super easy to put together. It will kept my kids active. Each was leaping, jumping and just having
fun. Bonus, as it keeps my kids and husband active. Yes, I said husband as he
wanted to get in on the fun too.
What is Finding
Dory Imagicademy Bubble Science?
This is a science kit that lets kids do
science experiments with bubbles. Kids will learn about surface, tension, air
pressure, diffusion and more. This kit comes with a 16 page lab book, 1 Dory bubble
blower, 2 bubble wands, 1 four ounce bubble solution, 1 bubble tray, 1 string,
2 silly straws, and 1 bubble glove. .
They have 7 science experiments you can do with your child. Adult
supervision is recommended and should not be used by children under 36 months.
#Review – I like the simple
step by step picture instructions. The
picture can guide you through the experiments so you know you are doing it the
right way. Note, if you use this product
just make sure you place napkins underneath so it does not spill onto your
surface.
