Free Stuff
I love free stuff. Who doesn't! Here are some of the sites that I use to get them. This post contains affiliate links.
You earn SB for searching for anything online as you normally do. You also get surprised points they post on their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts. These points can then be redeemed for gift cards. You can get a $5 Amazon GC for 500 points and/or $5 Target, Walmart and Starbucks for 500 points. This is how I do my Xmas shopping each year. I save my points redeem them to the store of my choice. All for FREE.
Swagbucks Points for Searching Online |
Shopkick is another app that you download to your phone. You pick up kicks (point) for walking into a store on the list, scanning a product. You can also get point for a purchased made with a linked card and for purchases on a receipt. (i.e. Marshalls, JCPenney, Best Buy and more.
You can redeem the points you earn for gift cards to your favorite stores i.e. Best Buy, Starbucks, and more. You can also save them for the bigger rewards i.e Tiffany's and more.
Crowdtap is an awesome community that you sign up for free and earns rewards. You are taken to your page portal where you view all of your available actions:
Quick hits - simple multiple choice questions you answer
Challenges - submitting 2 ways via a photo that you upload with a caption and a text which you reply to a brands question. The brand is looking for feedback.
Missions - your comment to questions about brands with other crowdtappers.
Sampling & Hosting Parties - my favorite as you get the products free to sample and sometimes get to host a party. You share your experiences via social media.
Updated - You get rewards for how many items you complete. Once you complete a section a message will pop up that you reached a reward.
I have gotten free stuff from Campbell's, Cottonelle, Ragu, and more. As well as gift cards to Amazon and Walmart. Again I save the gift cards throughout the year and I am able to get birthday and Xmas gifts with them.
Ebates is a site that pays you cash back for what you buy online. From the picture above, I have made purchases to Groupon, Zulily, Target, and Fandango for movie tickets. I get a cash back and it does add up. Ebates will then send you a check.
Influenster is a community of savvy people who give opinions of products and experiences. You sign up for free and add all of the social media circle you have. You will then an email with different questions all multiple choice. Based on your answer you will get an email you scored a VoxBox. You will not know what is in the box until you get it. I have gotten full-size products free.

This site is a word of mouth network. You sign up free fill out a couple of surveys. You then will randomly get an email with an invite to a campaign. I have received Coppersole socks, Charmin chamomile toilet paper, cereal, Max Factor makeup and the list goes on. Full-size products to try out and share with people you know and on social media. The more you tell the more people know about that product.
Each campaign is different and has different guidelines to follow. The activities you do in each are to share your experiences with the product and describe them in detail. Take pictures of the products using them. They want an honest and meaningful description of the product you are reviewing. Some surveys have MyPoints that you earn for completing the surveys. You accept the points which are then applied to your account that you can redeem on that the MyPoints website for gift cards as well. Double the free stuff.

ReplyDeleteEbates is my favorite!! I signed up back in October and I made $400+ between Black Friday/Christmas shopping! Now since February I've made close to $300! So awesome!
ReplyDeleteI love Ebates! Every now and again I have to remember to activate it before a purchase but most of the time I do. Love the extra funds every few months. Every little bit helps. Great Post! XOXO
ReplyDeleteThese are some awesome suggestions, I do belong to most of these it can be a lot of work to do them all but if you have thetime it can be well worth it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for these links. I will check them out. I definitely love free stuff!
ReplyDeleteI had heard of all of these except Shopkick. I'm about to get fed up with PinchME. Since I got past 50, it seems most months I get no sample offers because I 'don't match the profile' their sponsors are looking for. That never happened before but it happens all the time now & I think it's age related.
ReplyDeleteNice roundup; thanks! You mentioned several that I either hadn't heard of before, or didn't know much about. I used to visit/use RecycleBank quite a bit, and have gotten some really nice magazine subscriptions. And I LOVE Ebates! I've installed the little button on my browser, so the Ebates button will just pop up whenever it can offer me cash back-- or, search for coupons.
ReplyDeleteThanks again for the great post!
